WAM NY awards scholarships to women from severely economically disadvantaged communities globally. Our financial support goes towards their leadership, mentoring & professional development. Scholarship funds are raised through membership dues, donations & hosting special events. We are inspired by the work and stories of our scholarship applicants and recipients. Each year we undertake to continue our support for the incredible work that these women leaders are doing in their communities and organizations. To date, we have raised over $50,000 towards empowering these trailblazing leaders! I hope that you will join us in this life-changing initiative for so many women leaders in the financial inclusion and microfinance space.
